10Ralph Guarino
On January 14, 1998, three men robbed the Bank of America offices inside the World Trade Center and stole $1.6 million. It was a poorly planned heist and two of the robbers were caught on camera. The tape allowed the police to track down the leader of the group, a gangster named Ralph Guarino. After Guarino was confronted by the authorities, he agreed to go undercover and infiltrate the DeCavalcante crime family of New Jersey.

Gone Bamboo, is now becoming a TV series from producers

The Negotiator. The story follows a former CIA-trained assassin who enters the Witness Protection Program, only to have his past come back to haunt him.
Deadline broke the news that
Gone Bamboo, the novel by Anthony Bourdain, is being turned into a TV series. There’s no network or streaming service in place just yet, but Webster Stone and Robert Stone have acquired the rights for scripted series based on a pilot. The book was published in 1997, with Bourdain saying: “I wanted to write a sociopath beach book. I wanted a hero and heroine as lazy, mercenary, lustful and free of redeeming qualities as I sometimes see myself.”

Natale, a polished and gregarious gangland chief known for keeping physically fit and being friendly with the press, copped a plea in a narcotics trafficking case and agreed to testify against his underboss, Joseph “Skinny Joey” Merlino, as well as corrupt Camden, New Jersey, Mayor Milton Milan.
