A 24-year-old man was arrested for kidnapping, vehicle theft and other charges Monday night after a pickup truck was stolen with three children inside, Morgan Hill police said.
MORGAN HILL, Calif. - A 24-year-old man was arrested for kidnapping, vehicle theft and other charges Monday night after a pickup truck was stolen with three children inside, Morgan Hill police said.
The stolen pickup was reported stolen about 6:30 p.m. at the Walgreens store at 745 East Dunne Ave., where the owner said he had parked and left it running with his three children, ages 13, 9 and 8, inside.

PALO ALTO, Calif. - A 42-year-old woman was arrested Friday night in Palo Alto on suspicion of assaulting a man in an alleged hate crime, police said.

Officers responded to a report at about 7:55 p.m. of a battery in progress in the 300 block of California Avenue. Upon their arrival, the suspect, later identified as Sarah Ann Neal, of Santa Clara, had fled on foot.

PALO ALTO, CA A South Bay woman was arrested Friday night in Palo Alto on suspicion of assaulting a man based on his nationality, police said.
Officers responded shortly before 8 p.m. to a call reporting a battery in progress in the 300 block of California Avenue, but the suspect left the scene by the time they arrived according to police.
The suspect, identified as Sarah Ann Neal, 42 of Santa Clara, confronted a man on a sidewalk who was talking on his cell phone asking him for money, police said.
