Royal wave: Queen Elizabeth meets little Lilibet via video call
Queen Elizabeth has met Prince Harry and Meghan Markle s newest arrival, baby Lilibet.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have introduced their newborn baby Lilibet to her great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth on a video call due to the COVID-19 restrictions. They are expected to see each other soon though.
Prince Harry and his wife welcomed their daughter into the world on 4 June and their bundle of joy has already met her great grandmother, albeit remotely as the family now live in California.
As reported by People magazine, the couple “were very excited and couldn’t wait to share that their daughter arrived” as soon as they got back from Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle called in lawyers today over a BBC story about their decision to name their daughter Lilibet Queen Elizabeth II s childhood nickname.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex s team at Schillings have sent letters to British media organizations warning the allegations in the article are defamatory and should not be repeated.
The stand-off relates to what the couple told the Queen about their intention to call their daughter Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor.
