OVP’s programs bring together law enforcement, community leaders, and young people and utilize data-driven, partnership-based violence prevention programs and strategies to defuse conflict and tackle gang and gun-related violence within the city of Stockton.  Efforts like these, that bring communities and law enforcement together are a model for how we can protect and enhance public safety in this state,

Stockton police confirm that 30-year-old Officer Jimmy Inn was shot late Tuesday morning while responding to a domestic violence call. Around 9:45 a.m. the Stockton Dispatch Center received a call of a disturbance in the 4400 block of La Cresta Way in North Stockton. The caller reported hearing screaming and saw a woman with a ripped shirt who was bleeding and appeared to have been assaulted.

Coronavirus: Fake US vaccination cards allegedly sold by bar owner

A bar owner in California who allegedly sold fake COVID-19 vaccine cards from his business has been charged with multiple offences, including forgery and identity theft. The owner was arrested at his bar, the Old Corner Saloon, in Clements, California s Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) said on Wednesday. The ABC received a complaint that fake vaccination cards were being sold at the bar and opened an investigation. In April, undercover agents were able to buy four fake cards there as part of their investigation, John Carr, an ABC spokesperson, told CNN. They paid US$20 ($25) for each card, he said.
