Betty Jane Sundeen, 86, formerly of 106 Broadhead Ave., passed away Monday, Dec.14, 2020 at Heritage Park Rehab & Skilled Nursing.
She was born March 6, 1934, in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Carl and Ingeborg Hearburg Sundeen.
A 1952 graduate of Jamestown High School, she then graduated from the Jamestown School of Practical Nursing in 1955. She also completed numerous intensive care courses at WCA Hospital. Betty was employed by WCA as an license practical nurse for 36 years, retiring in 1994.
She is survived by several cousins, including Jarrod Hearburg of James-town; as well as her best friend, Gloria Nieder.
Following her instruction, no service or visitation will be observed. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.

William J. Brudz, 73, of Jamestown, N.Y., passed away at 10:55 a.m. Monday, Dec. 7, 2020, in his home.
He was born July 30, 1947, in Buffalo, N.Y., a son of the late John J. and Lucy E. Herko Brudz.
Bill was a graduate of Bishop Ryan High School and attended Niagara University.
Before his retirement, he had worked for the Jamestown YMCA for several years and was well liked by those who knew him. He will be remembered for his green thumb and for being an avid gardener and horticulturist and for his love of animals.
Surviving are his siblings; Eugene Brudz of Buffalo, N.Y., Marylou (Gene) Rozycki of Depew, N.Y., Christine Clark of Buffalo, N.Y., and Theresa (Daniel) Rees of Upland Calif.; as well as several nieces and nephews.
