Trinidad Village in Rossmore Road, Poole MURDER accused Christopher Stocks threatened to “stab or shoot” a group of his neighbours 24 hours before the death of Gary Ballett, a court has heard. Mr Ballett, 66, was fatally stabbed on August 9 last year at Trinidad House in Rossmore Road, Poole. The knife broke a rib and severed an artery and Mr Ballett died in hospital the next day. He told police at the scene that 54-year-old Christopher Stocks, who lived in the flats, had stabbed him, and Stocks was subsequently arrested. And his trial opened at Salisbury Crown Court on Monday. Prosecuting, Mr Alastair Malcolm QC told the court: “Barry Tucker, Gary Ballett and Theresa McLennan were sitting outside and they had the radio playing.
