Garth Brooks Sells Out Nebraska’s Memorial Stadium In Just Over an Hour

I suppose that when Nebraska announced that Garth Brooks would play Memorial Stadium in the round on Saturday night, August 14, 2021, it was more of a question of “when” not “if” the concert would sell out.
And for those of you keeping score at home, it only took 100 minutes for all of the tickets to disappear.

It’s unclear just how many tickets were sold, as Memorial Stadium’s official seating capacity is 85,458. (Attendance at Nebraska football games includes media, stadium workers and football personnel, which regularly pushes announced crowds towards 90,000.)
