I would just like to not wear a mask.” Teammates Finley Thompson, Lucy Boland and Arjun Oshan all received their shots during a busy day at Gundersen’s vaccination clinic in Onalaska. “I wanted to show other kids my age that it’s fine, and you can do it,” Arjun Oshan said.

Local Clinics Begin Offering Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine to Teens

By Mike Leischner May 13, 2021 | 10:51 AM WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) Following approval from health regulators earlier this week many COVID-19 vaccination clinics in the region will begin offering Pfizer shots to those ages 12-15. Marathon County’s community vaccination site at Northcentral Technical College will take walk-in appointments for the shots. Hours for the clinic are 11 AM to 7 PM every Tuesday through Saturday. Appointments can be made online if desired. Marshfield Clinic Health System is also making the vaccine available to those over the age of 12 as of today. Information on how to schedule your shot can be found online including via walk-in or by appointment. Those without internet access can call 1-877-998-0880

New procedure at Mayo Clinic helps alleviate throat, mucus issues Unmute (WXOW) - Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse is utilizing a new procedure to help people alleviate throat and mucus issues. The health care provider is utilizing cryotherapy also know as cryoablation which treats chronic rhinitis. People living with chronic rhinitis have persistent symptoms like nasal congestion, runny nose, and postnasal drip. These people are often constantly affected despite medication usage. Dr. Quintin Capelle at Mayo Clinic said the procedure is office-based. A probe is used inside the nose with a camera to treat over-active nerves with a very cold temperature, said Dr. Capelle.
