Stranded Australians desperate to return home are turning to the high seas after discovering a loophole in the country's travel caps. The Australian Border Force has confirmed more than 150 vessels have quietly arrived in Australian ports since the international border closed. Many travellers have opted to work onboard yachts and sail boats in return for free passage to avoid expensive airfares. Travel onboard a vessel can take several months and anyone returning by boat is still expected to undertake a mandatory 14 days of hotel quarantine.
