(Enterprise-Record file) CHICO In an effort to mitigate bias and promote equity among students, the Chico Unified School District presented its data and possible solutions during Wednesday night’s school board meeting. During the special board workshop, the district pointed out several areas of concern and need for improvement and adopted the Equity-based Multi-Tiered System of Support. Tina Keene, CUSD’s director of State and Federal programs said that the money coming in as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic will help the district achieve more equity standards.
