Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], January 22 (ANI/NewsVoir): In a world where personal connections have taken a backseat and conversations have mostly gone digital, an effort was made to emphasize on the importance of effective communication with children, as noted authors, journalists and behavioral specialists came together to interact with the public and encourage them to talk to their children during the launch of the book Speak-A-Boo by Dr Neeraj Suri.

NEGAUNEE A Negaunee business owner has been honored on the international level for his work.
Gary Perala was awarded the Lions Club International Presidential Medal for his work as the chair for the Michigan Defense Against Diabetes Grant Program.

Lions Club International, District 404 B-1, Nigeria has donated its N47m upgraded eye centre to Ogun State.
The facility, according to the club, was funded with $64,993 grant from Lions Club International Foundation for renovation and upgrade.
The club added that the facility which has been in existence since 2007 was also provided with $56,791 grant for equipment and training of personnel.
District Governor of the club, Lynda Odunmbaku, who spoke at the official commissioning ceremony of the facility at the State Hospital, Ota, noted that there was the need to upgrade the facility in order to bring it up-to-date with the technological advancement in health administration.
