SANDUSKY - Cedar Point announced the hiring of Carrie Boldman as vice president and general manager,the first woman appointed to those key roles in the park’s 150-year history.
Boldman is succeeding Jason McClure, who has been promoted to senior vice president of park operations at Cedar Point’s parent company, Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, according to a news release.
Boldman’s new role also came as a promotion from within as she previously worked as the park’s vice president of merchandise and games.
Boldman has 25 years of experience, also having worked for Disney Parks and Resorts and The Chef’s Garden, a family-owned sustainable farm in Huron, her hometown, prior to joining Cedar Fair in 2013.

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Kings Island is holding a virtual job fair this weekend with plans to hire more than 4,000 people for the upcoming 2021 season.
To prepare for the amusement park’s May opening, Kings Island will host a virtual National Hiring Day event this Saturday.
Candidates can register online at visitkingsisland.com/hiringday.
Job opportunities are available in all park operating areas, including rides, merchandise, lifeguards, park services, food and beverage, guest services and more.
