Syed Sharaf Ali Shah has been appointed as the new chairman for the Board Secondary Education, Karachi (BSEK), a notification issued by the universities and boards department said on Wednesday.
According to
Geo News, The Sindh government has appointed the chairman for a tenure of three years in place of Dr Saeeduddin. The appointment was made on the recommendation of Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah. The interim contract of Dr Saeeduddin as Chairman, Board of Secondary Education [.] is hereby terminated with immediate effect, the notification said.

Sindh reported 58 coronavirus-related deaths on Tuesday - the highest number in a single day since 74 deaths were reported on June 29. As a result, the provincial death toll for the pandemic soared to 3,222.
Meanwhile, as 1,520 more infections emerged in the province with a 14.8 per cent positivity ratio on the day, Sindh Health and Population Welfare Minister Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho reached out to the federal government to ask for assistance in providing the Covid-19 vaccine.
