Locals in Atlantic City, New Jersey, will have a unique opportunity next month the chance to blow up a casino belonging to president Donald Trump. The winner will be picked through a fundraiser for a charity in the area for children and teens.
Mr Trump’s property was being used as a casino since 1984 until it shut down in 2014 and fell into a state of disrepair. The demolition work had already begun early this year but the remaining structure is set to be blown up on 29 January, just nine days after the swearing-in of the president-elect Joe Biden.

One of President Donald Trump’s former Atlantic City casinos will be blown up next month, and for the right amount of money, you could be the one to press the button that brings it down.
The demolition of the former Trump Plaza casino will become a fundraiser to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City that the mayor hopes will raise in excess of $1 million.

I know that many of us would like for something epic to happen to Trump and/or property….after all he is a billionaire (questionable claim)…..his water line, his steaks, his wine and his university were all as worthless as their founder…..but what about the now defunct casino….what to do, what to do?
I say blow the damn thing up and make room for something useful……and believe it or not they are taking bids to do just that very thing…..
Part of President Trump’s former empire is going to come crashing down next month and Atlantic City wants to use the moment to raise money for a good cause. The former Trump Plaza Hotel & Casino is being dynamited on Jan. 29, and the city is auctioning off the chance to be the person who presses the button for the implosion. “Some of Atlantic City’s iconic moments happened there, but on his way out, Donald Trump openly mocked Atlantic City, saying he made a lot of money and then got out,” says Mayor Marty Sm
All proceeds raised from the auction will go toward the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City, which has hired a company to begin soliciting bids during the next month. The top bids will be revealed on Jan. 19 before a live auction determines the winner.
The city hope to raise at least $1 million through the fundraiser, Small said. Due to the fact of Mr. Trump s history here in Atlantic City – particularly on the back end where he played it out on a national stage, where he said he took advantage of the bankruptcy laws, took advantage of a lot of people, made a lot of money in Atlantic City, and then got out – I think it s extremely important that we do something worthwhile, Small said.
