The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) has urged related units to drastically prevent people from flashing laser pointers, flying kites or operating other flying objects near airports, which cause great danger to flight navigation.
The CAAV has had several reports of laser lights played near Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang International Airport in central Da Nang City recently.
In addition, flying kites and drones near the airdromes has been increasing, according to the CAAV.

Private carrier Bamboo Airways recently acquired slots to operate regular direct flights from Ho Chi Minh City to San Francisco and Los Angeles starting September 1.
The airline plans to begin charter flights starting July and regular flights in September with four flights a week.

HÀ NỘI - The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) has proposed the Ministry of Transport revoke the general aviation business licence of Globaltrans Air JSC.
A representative of the CAAV said the ministry renewed the business licence of Globaltrans Air to operate as a general aviation service provider in 2018. However, by the end of April 2021, the company had not received an air operator’s certificate (AOC).
The CAAV has informed Globaltrans Air about the cancellation of the licence in line with regulations, but it is yet to receive any response from the company.
