ISLAMABAD, April 24 (Gwadar Pro) - A webinar on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Investment Opportunities for Third Countries co-sponsored by Chinese Embassy and Pakistani Embassy in Indonesia was held on Thursday. Speakers highlighted that as a landmark project of Pak-China cooperation and pilot project of BRI, CPEC is a great plan for regional connectivity and infrastructure development, which would open new avenues of mutually beneficial cooperation between Pakistan, China and Indonesia.
Pakistani Ambassador H.E. Muhammad Hassan, said in welcome remarks that in CPEC Phase-2, numerous special industrial and economic zones are being developed along the CPEC routes, providing investment opportunities to not only local and Chinese investors, but also from third countries.

ISLAMABAD, April 24 (Xinhua) Chairman of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Authority Asim Saleem Bajwa said on Saturday that clusters of technical institutes will be established around the special economic zones (SEZs) of CPEC to impart skills and knowledge to the Pakistani young people. Preparing youth for jobs in CPEC projects is our top priority under a comprehensive plan. Clusters of tech institutes will be upgraded around new SEZs, Bajwa said on Twitter. Gwadar Technical institute to cater for new industry in Free Zone coming up fast, he added.
The Pakistani government plans to set up nine SEZs under CPEC to give boost to the country s exports by promoting industrial development. The SEZs can help Pakistan enhance its exports to 1-1.5 billion U.S. dollars annually in the short run by ensuring effective planning, according to officials. Enditem
