Little is known about the plane, which is not expected to arrive until later in the 2020s.
China’s next-generation H-20 bomber is coming, and it’s set to take on the latest offerings from Russia and the United States.
It was revealed in the mid-2010s that the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) was looking for a new strategic stealth bomber to replace their aging H-6, itself a license-produced variant of the 1950s Soviet Tu-16 heavy bomber. However, this new bomber is being envisioned as more than simply a modernized H-6; rather, it is to serve a broader and fundamentally different strategic purpose.
Report: Russian Su-30 Fighter in Mid-Air Collision During Exercise
The Su-30 crashed in a forest area, and a commission from the Western Military District had been deployed to the crash site and will make their findings known at a later date.
Here s What You Need to Remember: Other nations including Algeria, Belarus, Indonesia, Malaysia, Uganda, Venezuela and Vietnam operate the Su-30. However, not all of the customers have been happy either and some critics in Belarus have suggested that the nation would have been better off buying U.S. F-16s instead of the Russian-made aircraft to replace its aging MiG-29 fighter jets.
Why U.S. B-1 Bombers are Skirting Around Taiwanese Air Space

It was the largest and most complicated modification performed to date on the B-1 and it gave the flight deck a completely new look.
The skies in the waters around Taiwan have become increasingly crowded in recent weeks, and two U.S. Air Force B-1B Lancer bombers and a Chinese People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) reconnaissance aircraft were spotted to the east of the island nation on Friday. PLAAF aircraft have been encroaching on Taiwanese air space over the past month.
Counter-Coercion: How to Use the Military to Avoid War with China
Washington must be crystal-clear about where its lines are, then communicate them, then stand by them, and show up when lines are crossed.
Over the past decade, and especially since 2016, China has rapidly developed its military infrastructure, activities, and capabilities in the South China Sea. This became alarming enough that in 2018, Adm. Phillip Davidson (now Commander of United States Indo-Pacific Command) told the Senate Armed Services Committee that “China is now capable of controlling the South China Sea in all scenarios short of war with the United States.” This September, during Under Secretary of State Krach’s visit to Taiwan, Chinese military aircraft crossed the median line almost forty times in just two days. Such intrusions prompted Taiwan’s president to express alarm: “What we are seeing now is not just a situation across the Taiwan Strait, but a regional situation. China’s recent militar
