The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Uche Secondus, has said sounded the alarm over the current state of things in Nigeria, saying that Nigeria must not fail.
He made this remark following a series of meetings in the last one week by various organs of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) – the National Working Committee (NWC), the National Caucus, the Board of Trustees and the National Executive Committee.
Secondus said that the outcome and conclusion of the meetings as a party is that “the ship of state is adrift and requires help.”
Briefing the country in a world press conference on the outcome of their deliberations, the PDP chieftain re echoed that Nigeria is on the precipice with arms-bearing non-state actors menacingly overrunning the country and its institutions and daily eroding our sovereignty as a nation

Anti-corruption group, the Human and Environmental Development Agenda, (HEDA Resource Centre), has given a former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Mohammed Adoke, 14 days to retract his defamatory statement against the group or face court action.
