news Sanjrani to write to 56,000 MPs worldwide on HR abuses in IIOJK Daily Times(PK) Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani has said that he would write to over 56,000 parliamentarians across the world to seek their attention for ending rising human rights violations in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). The Senate chairman said this on Sunday during a meeting with Tehreek-e-Kashmir (TeK) United Kingdom (UK) President Raja Fahim Kayani who called him. Sanjrani said that Pakistan would raise the IIOJK dispute at every international platform, and that the movement of the people of the besieged valley was as per the spirit of United Nations – that has passed the resolutions for the Kashmiris right to self-determination. “It is time to give the right of vote to the people of IIOJK so they can decide about their future,” Sanjrani said.

Top Story January 8, 2021 ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Thursday welcomed the start of second round of intra-Afghan negotiations in Doha and called upon both the sides to remain constructively engaged and show flexibility in the negotiations. “We call upon both sides to remain constructively engaged and show flexibility in the negotiations for reaching an inclusive, broad-based and comprehensive political settlement which will lead to lasting peace and stability in Afghanistan,” Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri said in his weekly press briefing here. He said the two teams had made significant progress by finalising the rules and procedures last month and had now reconvened to negotiate on substantive issues. Hoping the two sides would prioritise working out a roadmap for reduction in violence and ceasefire in the negotiations, the spokesperson reiterated Pakistan’s abiding commitment to a peaceful, stable, united, sovereign, democratic and prosperous Afghanistan.
