Two former postmistresses at Post Fiji Ltd pleaded not guilty in the Suva Magistrates Court on Monday to charges of causing losses.
Sereseini Seru and Ane Mauleko were charged by the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) for causing losses while working at the Nabua and Nakasi post offices in 2018.
They both denied falsifying details on applications for electronic money order and applications to receive money order, which allowed false system payments to be made between them to cover up losses they had incurred.
Ms Mauleko further denied falsifying a remittance between post offices form amounting to $21,000 while Ms Seru denied falsifying four office summary reports.
