UPDATE, 5.30PM A man has been flown to hospital after losing control of his motorcycle in the forestry at Tiaro. He suffered serious injuries to his pelvis and legs in the crash. The man, aged in his 50s, was assessed by paramedics at the scene before a paramedic from the RACQ Lifeflight rescue helicopter was winched down, due to the terrain. The helicopter was landed in a paddock nearby and, once stabilised, paramedics drove the man to meet the Lifeflight crew. The man was flown in a stable condition to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

We thought she would make an earlier appearance. I thought I had to be confined to hospital grounds at first, but soon came to learn that I had the option to stay at Wishlist House or Reed House which is next to Nambour Hospital, she said. The 34-year-old chose Reed House as her home away from home. Being pregnant, I didn t want to walk or drive around a lot after my waters broke, so I felt staying at Reed House was a better option for me as they have amazing volunteers that would drive me to my hospital appointments when needed.
