NORFOLK, Va. - Norfolk Detectives are continuing to investigate a hit-and-run crash that has left a 70-year-old man dead.
According to the preliminary investigation, the man was crossing the street when he was hit by a silver or grey sport utility vehicle. The vehicle drove away before police arrived.
The man, who police later identified as Bobby L. Olsen, was taken to the Sentara Norfolk General Hospital where he died from his injuries.

NORFOLK, Va. Wednesday, the Norfolk Police Department said they had charged a man with hurting five people, including a one-month-old baby, in a summer shooting.
Police said Norfolk resident Kimahni Lankford, 20, will face five counts of malicious wounding, and five counts of use of a firearm.
The incident happened on Aug. 25, around 10:15 p.m. in the 800 block of East Princess Anne Rd.

NORFOLK, Va. A fifteen-year-old girl is dead after a Sunday hit-and-run crash in Norfolk, and police are still looking for the driver they say is responsible for the crash.
Witnesses said they saw an overturned vehicle at the scene.
It happened near the intersection of Leo and 29th streets in Norfolk, around 3:45 in the afternoon.
Brian Titlow drove by the scene, on his way from a friend’s home.
“Yeah, I saw the car - it was upside down right over here. It was right where you guys are standing. It was upside down, he said.
