A teenager has appeared in court accused of murder after a young woman s body was found in a house in Wavertree. The body of N Taya Elliott-Cleverley , 20, was found at a property in Prince Alfred Road on Friday morning. Detectives confirmed on Saturday 19-year-old Mohammed Diakite, also known as Nigel Diakite, of Prince Alfred Road, Wavertree, had been charged with her murder.
On Monday morning Diakite appeared at Sefton Magistrates Court.

Four men charged over cannabis supply conspiracy between Merseyside and West Yorkshire DETECTIVES who were investigating a cannabis supply conspiracy in Merseyside and West Yorkshire have charged four men following warrants and activity. This activity took place in both Merseyside and West Yorkshire, the force confirmed, and means a total of seven people have now been arrested in connection with the cannabis farm. The four men have been charged with conspiracy to supply cannabis with the initial hearing at Sefton Magistrates Court this morning. The arrests included: 24-year-old man Bertold Cara; 24-year-old man Jurgen Miha; 25-year-old man Arber Disha; all of Canon Road, Anfield; and 32-year-old Xhyla Erion of no fixed abode.
