21/12/2020 Serbian Foreign Minister, Nikola Selaković, said that 24 Hungarian companies will invest 130 million euro in Serbia in the coming period, adding that the money will not only be invested in  Vojvodina, but in other parts of Serbia. At a joint press conference with his Hungarian counterpart, Péter Szijártó, in Budapest, Selakovic thanked Hungary for supporting its companies to invest in the Serbian market and underlined that those investments would further strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries. Selaković also said that his visit to Hungary was the first visit to a neighbouring country in his capacity as the foreign minister, adding that Serbia had built friendly relations with Hungary, as good neighbours, in the previous period.
