April 19 (Interfax) - A total of 8,589 new coronavirus cases and 346 related deaths were recorded in Russia over the past 24 hours, according to a statement released by the national coronavirus response headquarters on Monday. A total of 8,589 cases of the new coronavirus infection (Covid-19) were registered in Russia in 83 regions over the past 24 hours, including 1,081 (12.6%) diagnosed proactively without clinical signs, the statement said. A total of 6,818 people were discharged after recovering and 346 patients died of coronavirus over the past 24 hours. A total of 2,279 new coronavirus cases, 59 deaths and 1,089 recoveries were recorded in Moscow on Monday, the headquarters said.
