Organizers report that more than 2,300 pounds of litter and illegally dumped debris was collected by more than 225 volunteers. Earth Day trash cleanups occurred in Fairfield, Suisun City, Vacaville, Dixon, Vallejo and Benicia, according to cleanup organizers and data reported using the Ocean Conservancy’s CleanSwell mobile app and as reported in a press release.
