UAE suspend entry of passengers from Indonesia, Afghanistan

Abu Dhabi [UAE], July 11 (ANI): United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Saturday announced the suspension of entry for travellers and transit passengers from Indonesia and Afghanistan on national and foreign flights with effect from July 11.
The announcement was made by the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Emergency Management Authority (NCEMA) in the UAE, reported Khaleej Times.
The suspension will include the suspension of the entry of travellers who were in these countries 14 days before coming to the UAE.
Transit and cargo flights to and from these countries will continue, as usual, the GCAA said in a statement.

The move also covers travellers who were in these countries 14 days prior to coming to the UAE.

ABU DHABI, 10 hours, 18 minutes ago The UAE has announced the suspension of all inbound flights for national and international carriers coming from Indonesia and Afghanistan, effective 11:59 on July 11. The travel suspension includes inbound transit passengers except transit flights coming to the UAE and heading to these countries, reported the Emirates News Agency (WAM), citing a statement from General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA). The GCAA indicated that it is required for those coming from Indonesia and Afghanistan through other countries that the period of their stay in the latter countries is not less than 14 days to be allowed access to the UAE.

Dubai, Jul 11: In view of increasing Covid-19 infection General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Emergency Management Authority (NCEMA) in the UAE has made an announcement that entry of passengers from Indonesia, Afghanistan will be suspended effective July 11.
The suspension will start from July 11 and this includes the suspension of the entry of travellers who were in these countries 14 days before coming to the UAE. Transit and cargo flights to and from these countries will continue as usual.
Authorities have exempted the following people from suspension:
