Domestic violence incident results in arrest Shafic Ahmed, 42 of Alamogordo, was arrested on March 29 on charges related to a domestic violence call on the 1800 block of Alamo Street. Ahmed was charged with aggravated burglary, child abuse (second offense), aggravated assault with a deadly weapon against a household member, possession of a firearm by a felon, battery against a household member, criminal damage to property of a household member, possession of an open container of alcohol, DWI and negligent use of a deadly weapon. At 7:56 p.m., Alamogordo Police were dispatched to a home on the 1800 block of Alamo Street in reference to a man pointing a gun at a woman and a child.
