Jared was a natural born athlete and growing up, any sport he played, he succeeded at giving him the confidence to dream of competing at a D1 level. When he was a child, he always had a ball in his hand, Lowney said.
Lacrosse was his most passionate fit as an athlete and something that didn t take him long to learn. He started in 6th grade and he excelled pretty quickly, Lowney said. He was a great Lacrosse player and great in wrestling, which takes time, but he was pretty fast in learning those things and he was dedicated. If he wasn t at practice, he was bouncing the ball against the house or with his friends on their own practicing.

Police found a woman at her home on Maria Street Saturday afternoon with a large slash on her face and full of blood.
A man, later identified as 38-year old Michael Mahan of Ewing, followed the woman home and started a confrontation with her over the road rage incident he alleges took place.
The victim told police that Mahan punched her, threatened to kill her and held a knife to her throat as he slashed her face.
A neighbor came in to break it up and called 9-1-1 which is when Mahan took off.

Wall Police said that 55-year old An Qinghai of New York is being charged with criminal sexual contact and criminal sexual assault after some of his clients began coming forward and accusing him of inappropriately touching them in a string of incidents that allegedly occurred between January of 2020 and March of 2021.
Following his arrest, Qinghai was processed and released.
Wall Police continue investigating the accusations and incidents and encourage any victims and anyone else with information to contact Detective Ty Hughes at WTPD at 732-449-4500 extension 1191.

The victim in the shooting was treated at the hospital for a non-life threatening gunshot injury.
Mark Ruffin Jr., 22, faces up to 20-years in state prison if convicted of Attempted Murder subject to the provisions of the No Early Release Act which means he has to serve 85 percent of the sentence imposed before becoming eligible for release on parole.
Ruffin Jr. would also be under parole supervision for five years following his release from state prison.
In addition to first degree Attempted Murder, Ruffin Jr. is also charged with second degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and second degree unlawful possession of weapon.
