LandrumHR is working with Baptist Health Care to provide easier access to COVID-19 vaccinations for all eligible employees. PENSACOLA, Fla. Community Health of Northwest Florida will hold a Johnson & Johnson one-shot COVID-19 vaccine clinic in Century later this week.
A limited amount of the vaccine will be available for residents of Century and surrounding communities at the clinic from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at the Century Agricultural Building, 6001 A Highway 4 in Century.
Appointments are required. Eligible people can call the Community Health COVID-19 Vaccine Call Center at 850-439-3358 or Community Health Adult Primary Care at 850-724-4064 to make an appointment.
The clinic is open to all residents of Century residents and surrounding communities who qualify, including those covered under the governor s latest executive orders.

The Florida Department of Health in Escambia County has announced this week’s COVID-19 vaccine distribution plan in Escambia County. Vaccines allocated by the state are being distributed through county health departments, which are receiving an allocation based on their county’s percentage of Florida’s over-65 population.
FDOH-Escambia was notified they would be receiving an allocation of 2,500 doses of the COVID-19 Moderna vaccine for the week of March 8 and is coordinating with community partners on distribution efforts.
FDOH-Escambia’s total allocation will be distributed as follows:
Ascension Sacred Heart: 600 doses
Baptist Health Care: 700 doses
FDOH-Escambia: 1,000 doses
West Florida Hospital: 200 doses
Community Health of Northwest Florida is removing the barriers for eligible residents to get the COVID-19 vaccine by allowing them to bring a current prescription bottle that treats an underlying medical condition that puts them at higher risk for the disease.
The organization hosted a walk-in clinic Monday at the Brownsville Community Center and is accepting appointments for three clinics this week, including one evening clinic to accommodate working families.
The clinics are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday and Friday and from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Brownsville Community Center, 3200 W. De Soto St. Those who qualify for the vaccine can call the Community Health COVID-19 Vaccine Call Center at 850-439-3358 to make an appointment.
