American Airlines Cargo has expanded its transatlantic services for freight customers with the launch of flights between John. F Kennedy International Airport in New York and Miami International Airport and Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv.
A daily, year-round service between New York and the Tel Aviv will be operated on a B777-200 aircraft, and the three-times weekly route between Miami and Tel Aviv will also be flown using a B777-200 aircraft.
Flights will initially carry around 15 tons of freight per flight and will depend on passenger load factors.

American Airlines is asking its employees to volunteer at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to help handle the travel surge occurring this summer.
“As we look forward to welcoming back more of our customers this summer, we know they’re counting on us to deliver a reliable operation and help them feel comfortable as they return after many months away from traveling,” American Airlines spokeswoman Sarah Jantz said, The Dallas Morning News reported.
