High School Sports: Dyersburg City Schools announces guidelines for games during Executive Order 70 (12/22/20)

Tuesday, December 22, 2020 Following Tennessee Governor Bill Lee s signing over Executive Order 70 on Sunday night, the Dyersburg City School system released a statement on Monday evening in regards to the order as well as the guidelines released by the Tennessee Secondary Schools Athletic Association earlier in the day. The statement read: “On December 20, Governor Bill Lee signed Executive Order 70, which limits indoor gatherings to 10 or fewer people and encourages those gatherings to only include immediate family household members.  While the spread of the virus is at an all-time high, Dyersburg City Schools must do our part to prevent further spread.  In Governor Lee s address he also discussed the importance of school activities, but he went on to say that further restrictions would be released from TSSAA on Monday.  Those guidelines were released this afternoon.  Dyersburg City Schools will continue to do our part to keep our students and staff healthy and safe and wil
