Blake Dowling: Release the (robo) hounds Image via Ghost Robotics. In 2019, I was attending the 25 th annual Biletnikoff Award Banquet at Florida State, which honors the best receiver in college football. Alabama Football’s Jerry Jeudy took home the award that year. What a perfect evening. They also give out scholarships in a not-a-dry-eye-in-the-house-type presentation to some very awesome young Floridians. Me, Mr. Biletnikoff, Jerry Jeudy and Aaron Taylor. Minding my business at the bar, a gentleman approached and tapped me on the shoulder. The person asked if I was the Blake from Aegis, I said: “At your service.” He shared with me the following: There was a person on our team named Brad, who served as a mentor to his son as part of the Leon High School Robotics team. Man, 24, facing murder charge in 2018 fatal shooting in Boynton Beach

BOYNTON BEACH  A man who once faced federal charges in connection to a 2018 fatal shooting in Boynton Beach now faces local charges in the homicide, court records show.  Authorities on Wednesday arrested Samson Hyland, 24, on one count of first-degree murder and one count of being a felon in possession of a weapon in the Dec. 2, 2018, death of 24-year-old Jarrod Jermaine Bozeman Jr.  During his first appearance hearing Thursday morning, Circuit Judge Charles Burton ordered that Hyland be held without bail. Hyland and his co-defendant, 28-year-old Tevin Laing, were facing federal drug-trafficking charges until that case was dismissed in July, according to court records. It was unclear Thursday why the charges were dropped.
