Share Via Email   |  A+A A- By PTI NEW DELHI: The Delhi High Court Tuesday allowed a woman to abort 23 week pregnancy after an AIIMS medical board said the twin foetus she was carrying did suffer from abnormalities and once born would face long term developmental issues. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) medical board also told the high court that the termination procedure would be reasonably safe at the present stage of gestation of the pregnancy.

Sir Ganga Ram Hospital claimed it has distributed all the vials to the Black Fungus patients New Delhi: The Delhi High Court Tuesday directed the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital to give details of number of patients of black fungus, primarily those affected by the disease after recovering from COVID-19 and method of distribution of the medicines to them. The high court was informed that the hospital has been provided with 360 vials of Amphotericin B, the injection administered to patients for treating Mucormycosis (black fungus), by the Delhi government last night. The hospital, however, claimed it has distributed all the vials to the patients and now left with no medicine, which is already in shortage in the country.
