The Delhi High Court, which had resumed full-fledged physical hearing from March 15, decided to again adopted the virtual mode of proceedings from April 9 to April 23, in view of alarming rise in COVID-19 cases in the national capital.

Three judges of the Delhi High Court have tested COVID-19 positive and are isolating at their residences, according to court sources. The three judges, who were having mild symptoms, received their test reports yesterday, sources said, adding that they did not conduct the court on Monday.

New Delhi, Apr 12: While 3 judges of the Delhi High Court have tested positive for the novel coronavirus (Covid-19), the Delhi High Court Bar Association has decided to close its office at the court premises in light of the rising number of Covid-19 cases in the national capital.
The judges are isolating at their residences, according to sources at the court. The 3 judges, who are suffering from mild symptoms, received their test reports yesterday. They are not conducting court today in this light.
The Delhi High Court had resumed full-fledged physical hearing from Mar 15, amid demands by members of the Delhi High Court Bar Association and others citing variousm issues with the hybrid mode of hearing - including that many junior advocates at the Bar had been affected due to the non-functioning of courts physically.

New Delhi [India], April 12 (ANI): As many as three judges of the DelhiHigh Court have tested positive for COVID-19 infection, court sources told ANI on Monday.
According to sources, the three judges have mild symptoms and now they are isolating themselves at their residences.
The DelhiHigh Court Bar Association has already decided to close its office in wake of rising COVID-19 cases in the national capital.
The high court has again adopted virtual hearing from April 9 to April 23 and discontinued the physical hearing.
The court had previously suspended its functioning on March 23, 2020, followed by the government s decision to impose lockdown amid the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the high court continued to take up urgent matters through video conferencing and later resumed physical hearing of limited benches.
