Additionally, the carmaker also recorded a 14 per cent growth wholesales in December. This is the mid-cycle refresh for the second generation of the most popular three-row 4x4 SUV in the country. Aside from the updates to the regular Fortuner, Toyota has also introduced a more upmarket Toyota Fortuner Legender variant with more premium looks and features. A big change with this update to the Fortuner is that the 2.8-litre four-cylinder diesel engine has been now been reworked to produce 204PS and 500 Nm with the six-speed auto, an increase of 27PS and 50 Nm. The torque output drops to 420 Nm when paired with the six-speed manual. The 2.7-litre petrol remains unaltered.
