At approximately 2:30 Tuesday morning, troopers from the Hope Valley Barracks, as well as members of the Hope Valley Fire and Rescue, responded to an incident on Route 95 North involving a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian.
The subsequent investigation revealed that tractor-trailer, operated by Norberto Gonzalez, age 40, of New Haven, Connecticut, was traveling in the low speed lane of Route 95 North in the Town of Richmond.
At a point approximately one-half mile north of Exit 3, the vehicle struck a pedestrian who had entered the first lane of travel. That subject has been identified as Clark W. Reynolds, age 64, of Exeter, Rhode Island.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. On Friday around 11:50 a.m., a man was shot dead inside Stuyvesant Apartments located on 140 Madison Ave. SE.
GRPD Sgt. John Wittkowski said that shooting took place inside an apartment and police are still looking for the suspect. A 28-year-old man was found suffering from a gunshot wound inside a residence and later died at the scene from his wound.
GRPD says a person of interest is being sought out at this time. Detectives from the Major Case Team were called to the scene to investigate, along with members of the Forensic Services Unit.

On Sunday around 5:50 p.m., the Grand Rapids Police Department responded to a car accident in the 4100 block of Eastern Ave SE.
A motorcycle was driving northbound on Eastern Ave SE and then struck a passenger vehicle that was pulling out of a driveway. The motorcyclist was a 55-year-old man who died at the scene.
GRPD Sgt. John Wittowski said, speed is believed to be a factor. The Traffic Unit and Forensics Services Unit responded to the scene and Eastern Ave SE is temporary closed for traffic.
