Today, 63,800 Covid vaccination centres were operational across India
New Delhi: The first day of Tika Utsav saw more than 27 lakh vaccine doses administered to people, confirmed the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Sunday. The total number of doses given in the country stands at 10.43 crore.
Tika Utsav is a special nationwide COVID-19 vaccination drive which began on April 11 and will continue till April 14. It was initiated on the directions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

20:54 PM IST: Covid-19 vaccines were administered in all 33 districts on Telangana on Tuesday. Data released by the state government s health department said 51,997 recipients received the Covid-19 vaccine on Tuesday during 894 sessions as against the target of 73,673. This puts the percentage of beneficiaries vaccinated today against the planned target at 71 per cent.
