NEW ORLEANS, La. â A casting call for a road trip movie that will film in Central Oregon in the summer of 2021 is seeking teens and young adults ages 18-25 of all backgrounds, ethnicities and walks of life to be a part of the movie. Individuals, groups of friends, siblings and couples are encouraged to audition, and no acting experience is necessary.
The as-yet untitled movie, produced by the Department of Motion Pictures, will follow four teenager friends as they set off on an unforgettable adventure across the Pacific Northwest to chase down their own version of the American Dream. The Ross Bros. filmmaking style is a hybrid of fiction and nonfiction, and the production company is seeking people who connect with the story to play themselves. Daredevils, fearless outcasts, misfits and strong personalities are encouraged to audition.

BATON ROUGE - State officials were recently tasked with identifying potentially erroneous payments issued by the Louisiana Workforce Commission, and an analysis revealed extensive errors.
A recent report from the Louisiana Legislative Auditor s Office shed light on what auditors found as they examined earnings reported to the LWC by employers from January 2020 through September 2020.
In their report, state officials explain that to qualify for unemployment insurance benefits during the pandemic, citizens with wages reported to LWC by employers were required to have meet several criteria.

Fann says Supervisors fear outcome of election audit

Senate President Karen Fann said Friday that Maricopa County officials may be balking at cooperating with an audit of the 2020 election results because they fear what it might turn up.
“I’m beginning to wonder if they’re not as confident in their (election) system as they say they are,” Fann told Capitol Media Services on Friday of the latest refusal by county supervisors to let Senate-hired auditors review the tallying equipment and hand count the 2.1 million ballots where they are currently located at county election offices.
Her comments come less than 24 hours after the board foreclosed the option of opening up the Maricopa County Tabulation and Election Center to the outside auditors.
