RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Thursday met with Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong. Issues pertaining to promotion of bilateral relations were discussed in the meeting.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Army Chief also appreciated China’s role and cooperation in the field of defense and security as well as its unwavering support to Pakistan on various international forums.
General Bajwa said that the completion of CPEC projects would bring benefits for people of both the countries and also contribute to their prosperity.

Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa told a visiting Afghan delegation on Tuesday that it was in Pakistan’s national interest to have peace in the neighbouring country, as the second and most crucial phase of the peace process kicked off in Doha.
“Peace in Afghanistan means peace in Pakistan,” the army chief said during his meeting with Mohammad Karim Khalili, the head of Hizb-e-Wahadat Islami Afghanistan.

Pakistan Armed Forces fully prepared to vanquish threats: COAS
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said Pakistan Armed Forces, with the support of our great nation, are fully prepared to vanquish threats in all domains.
He said this while visiting field exercise area near Gujranwala on Wednesday. Air Chief Mujahid Anwar Khan also accompanied the Army Chief during his visit.
General Qamar Javed Bajwa lauded professionalism of Army Air Defence and expressed complete satisfaction on operational readiness.
The Army Chief emphasised that there is need for greater cooperation, integration and synchronisation to tackle complex and fluid battlefield challenges that lie ahead.

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa met the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia and the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka on Tuesday and discussed mutual cooperation as well as regional security situation.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa met Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki. Issues of mutual interest, regional security and defense relations were discussed during the meeting.
The Saudi ambassador reiterated Saudi Arabia’s full support for Pakistan’s position on all issues.
