Deputy Commissioner, Ashok Sharma, BDC Chairpersons, DDC members, and other senior officers welcomed the chairperson and Vice Chairperson at their newly established Office.
The DDC Chairperson, while speaking on the occasion, hoped that the developmental process on grassroots level will get a fresh boost with the establishment of a 3-tier PRI System in the District. She sought cooperation from District Administration for taking forward the developmental activities in the district.
The Deputy Commissioner assured all possible support for the smooth functioning of the District Council and hoped that the new office will act as the bridge between the people and Administration in realising the aim of decentralised planning and management, besides ensuring effective coordination and communication.

The DDC Chairman during the visit inspected various sections of the hospitals including OPD and COVID-19 vaccination unit and stressed the need for adhering to COVID-19 SOPs in letter and spirit .He also directed for maintenance of social distance and cleanliness in the hospital premises.
The Chairman also stressed for maintaining proper cleanliness in all offices of the Tehsil and ensure usage of face masks and maintaining social distancing.
He also appealed people to follow Covid guidelines for their safety.

RAJOURI, Apr 22: Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha, Jammu- Poonch constituency, Jugal Kishore Sharma today reviewed the progress achieved under different centrally sponsored schemes in district Rajouri at the District Development Coordination & Monitoring Committee (DISHA) meeting held in the Conference Hall of PWD Dak Bungalow.
