DOOMDOOMA: National Science Day (NSD) was observed by Padma Nath Gohain Baruah Government Model College, Kakapather situated at Amguri Nagaon near Dirak, about 21 km away from here, on Tuesday in collaboration with Assam Science Society (ASS), Doomdooma branch.
The meeting was presided over by Dr Thanuram Majinder, Principal of the college, while Sanjib Kalita, Head of English Department, explained the objectives of the meeting and felicitated the guests. In the beginning, one-minute silence was observed in memory of Dr YP Ojha, former president, ASS, Doomdooma branch.
