The Family Research Council announced Wednesday it has launched a new project aimed at helping “Christians develop and live by a biblical worldview.”
The Center for Biblical Worldview “will also train Bible-believing Christians to advance and defend the faith in the workplace, in the schools, in their communities, and in the public square,” the pro-family group said in its announcement.
“Christians have a duty to stand against the prevailing cultural tides and proclaim God’s truth to a dark and wandering world. … The Center for Biblical Worldview is designed to give Christians a firm foundation so that they can engage the culture by being rooted in God’s Word,” Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Coun

A Christian street pastor was arrested last month for causing âalarm and distressâ in London for preaching about the biblical definition of marriage being between one man and one woman from Genesis 1.
Pastor John Sherwood, the 71-year-old minister of the Penn Free Methodist Church in north London, was reportedly approached by police officers in the northwest London town of Uxbridge on April 23 while preaching on the final verses of Genesis 1. He allegedly stated that God designed families to have a mother and a father and not two parents of the same gender.
