Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) [India], May 31 (ANI): Construction work on the Ram temple in Ayodhya is going on in full swing and a part of construction is likely to be completed by October this year, said general secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Champat Rai on Monday.

The trust is looking after the construction and management of Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. SRJBTK trustee Dr Anil Mishra said that the whole country is fighting with the Covid-19 virus; trust has decided to aid in this fight by installing an oxygen plant at the cost of Rs 55 lakhs.

Ram Navami, this year, falls on April 21. Meanwhile, in Lucknow relatives of COVID-infected patients queued up outside a medical oxygen centre, to purchase and refill oxygen cylinders.

Ayodhya Ram temple donation: 15,000 bank cheques worth Rs 22 crore bounce

Apr 17, 2021, 10:35 AM IST Ayodhya: Around 15,000 bank cheques with a face value of Rs 22 crore, collected by the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) for the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, have bounced. According to an audit report of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra, a trust set up by the Centre for the construction of the temple, said the cheques bounced due to lack of funds in bank accounts or some technical error, news agency PTI reported. Trust member Dr Anil Mishra said banks are working to solve the issue of technical errors and they are asking people to make donations again.
