Deadline Day is about as quiet as expected for Tottenham Hotspur, given that we’ve already heard from Spurs beat writers that no major deals are expected.
Gedson Fernandes, however, seems to be on his way out of London. Having played only 153 minutes for Spurs this season, it seems Benfica are ready to move him on to another loan. Turkish outlet Sabah (via Sport Witness) is stating that domestic giant Galatasaray are taking him on an 18-month deal, though nobody is certain if it’s a loan or sale. The odd part comes with this news, though:
