A shooting involving a Texarkana Arkansas police officer resulted in the death of a man over the weekend. The deceased man has been identified as 37-year-old Don Crowson. According to KSLA, officers received a call around 9:44 on Saturday, June 26, about a man in the 1100 block  jumping up and down on a fence and pacing in the street while yelling that he was going to kill someone. The caller told the dispatcher the man appeared to be under the influence of drugs. According to police, responding officers made contact with the man in an apartment on the 1100 block of Hickory Street. The police department statement was as follows.
