All-Filipino TNC Predator debuts in APAC Predator League Grand Final

Published March 12, 2021, 9:31 PM Bannering its revamped all-Filipino roster, TNC Predator will have its mettle tested against Neon Esports and eight other teams in the 2020/2021 Asia Pacific Predator League Grand Final slated on April 6-11.  Former Smart Omega captain-support Marvin “Boomy” Rushton and offlaner Jun “Bok” Kanehara will debut with a TNC jersey in the final stage of the APAC Predator League which was postponed last year due to COVID-19.  With mainstays carry Kim “Gabbi” Santos, mid laner Armel “Armel” Tabios and position-4 support Timothy “Tims” Randrup, TNC will take on the Singapore Major-bound Neon and fellow Dota Pro Circuit-Southeast Asia Upper Division teams Boom Esports and 496 Gaming. 

Iceiceice says releasing kpii is definitely a huge mistake by TNC

Published March 7, 2021, 5:28 PM Photo screen-grabbed from SecretLab’s exclusive interview with iceiceicea Veteran offlaner Daryl “iceiceice” Koh Pei Xiang was absolutely not a fan of TNC Predator’s decision to let go of fellow seasoned position-3 player Damien “kpii” Chok.  TNC parted ways with the Australian TI7 runner-up kpii along with South Korean captain-support Kim “Febby” Yong Min last Wednesday, March 3, almost a week after its botched bid to qualify for the Singapore Major.  “TNC actually kicked kpii. Why would they kick kpii? TNC is stupid man,” iceiceice said with a laugh during his Twitch stream two days after the announcement of TNC. 

TNC forms all-Pinoy roster again with Boomy and Bok

TNC Predator is back with an all-Filipino roster.  The Filipino powerhouse team revealed its acquisition of former Smart Omega players Marvin “Boomy” Rushton (also known as Boombacs) and Jun “Bok” Kanehara (Bokerino) on Friday night, March 5.  “We want to welcome Marvin “Boomy” Rushton and Jun “Bok” Kanehara as our new Position 5 and Position 3 players, respectively. We are excited what Boomy and Bok (have) to share with our team in terms of game strategy and playstyle,” the team said in a statement posted on its official social media pages. TNC made its move almost a day after ex-captain and hard support Kim “Febby” Yong Min said on his latest Youtube video that the organization would go for an all-Filipino lineup again. 

TNC parts ways with Febby and Kpii following botched SG Major qualifying bid

Published March 3, 2021, 1:13 PM Photo from TNC Pro Team – Dota 2 Facebook page  After a failed bid to qualify for the Singapore Major, TNC Predator decided to release its captain-hard support Kim “Febby” Yong Min and offlaner Damien “Kpii” Chok on Wednesday, March 3.  “We would like to thank Kim Yong Min (Febby) and Damien Chok (Kpiidota) for sharing their unrivaled professional skills with the team and bringing us multiple title wins during their stay. Today, we are announcing their release in our current roster,” TNC said in a statement posted on its official social media pages.  “For our next step, the team decided to move towards greater heights and agreed to part ways. Although this is the time we move on in our own pace towards the Aegis, our friendship never stops and we hope that in the future, we meet again with Kpii and Febby in the battlefield,” it added.
