We have kept in touch with a couple from the beginning of their journey to get the second dose, from the concern, the waiting and now the joy. The Goldmans waited all day for one call. “I answered so many spam calls today,” Steven Goldman said while laughing. Just after 6 p.m. the call they hoped for arrived a call that signaled a step toward freedom. The Goldmans got their second dose appointments for the same day and time to finish what they started.

BREAKING NEWS Home  /  News  /  Lehigh News  /  9,000 doses of COVID vaccine expected to be administered this week 9,000 doses of COVID vaccine expected to be administered this week By Staff | Jan 13, 2021 The Florida Department of Health and Lee County Government estimate 9,000 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine will be administered this week to frontline healthcare workers and seniors 65 and older. Through last week, more than 11,000 individuals will have been vaccinated at Lee County sites open to the public. Additionally, FDOH-Lee has vaccinated many medical workers at separate sites since the vaccination became available here in December. This number of individuals does not include vaccinations issued by other entities such as Lee Health.
