Major League Soccer’s international break began last week, giving players a chance to represent their countries in some of the world’s largest competitions. The league paused for three weeks as national teams participate in Nations League, Concacaf World Cup qualifiers and Conmebol World Cup qualifiers.
The South American World Cup qualifiers will be divided into two days, June 3 and June 8, ahead of the 2022 tournament in Qatar. 16 MLS players were called up to stand with their country in this prestigious competition. The following is a guide of all MLS players participating - the only Conmebol sides without MLS involvement are Bolivia, Brazil, Columbia and Argentina.
