On Thursday, the Kansas City Chiefs announced that Ted Crews has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Communications. ORANGEBURG, S.C. â Former U.N. Ambassador and South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, often mentioned as a possible 2024 GOP presidential contender, said April 12 that she would not seek her partyâs nomination if former President Donald Trump opts to run a second time.
âYes,â Haley said, when asked if she would support a second bid by Trump, in whose Cabinet she served for the first half of his administration.
âI would not run if President Trump ran, and I would talk to him about it,â Haley said, asked by The Associated Press if a possible Trump bid could preclude her own effort, were he to announce first. âThatâs something that weâll have a conversation about at some point, if that decision is something that has to be made.â

The University of Akron named a longtime employee as its new vice president of inclusion and equity.
Sheldon B. Wrice has taught full-time and chaired a handful of departments at the university since 1995. He already had been serving in his new role on an interim basis since October while also working as the Buchtel College of Arts and Sciences associate dean for undergraduate studies and education, according to a news release.
Officials called the position a critical one in UA s administration, outlining that Wrice will provide strategic leadership for campus diversity, program oversight, diversity advising and mentoring, community relations and outreach, and policy duties that result in a learning and workplace environment that is welcoming and supportive to all.

MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCSC) - The Berkeley County School District is one step closer to naming a new superintendent.
The school’s board of trustees voted Tuesday to narrow its search to three candidates. All three are internal candidates, according to district.
